Subject: TRUMPET:SLIP:COM4:...Help!!!
I am having a heck of a time getting Trumpet to SLIP over my internal USR
v.32.bis modem which is set up on COM4.
When dialing our terminal server, I get the CONNECT 14400/ARQ just fine, but
instead of the next line being "Username:" I get a line of garbage the looks
like ` and some other weird characters.
I feel confident that the modem is
operating fine, as WinFaxPro, pcAnyWhere, and several other COM programs work
(including the lowly Windows terminal Program) reliably. Is there anyone who
has done this, and would it be possible to let me know of any special hoops to
jump through or send me a copy of the login.cmd that you use.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
