  13. Subject: TRUMPET:SLIP:COM4:...Help!!!

  15. I am having a heck of a time getting Trumpet to SLIP over my internal USR 
  16. v.32.bis modem which is set up on COM4.  
  17.  
  18. When dialing our terminal server, I get the CONNECT 14400/ARQ just fine, but 
  19. instead of the next line being "Username:"  I get a line of garbage the looks 
  20. like ` and some other weird characters.  
  21.  
  22. I feel confident that the modem is 
  23. operating fine, as WinFaxPro, pcAnyWhere, and several other COM programs work 
  24. (including the lowly Windows terminal Program) reliably.  Is there anyone who 
  25. has done this, and would it be possible to let me know of any special hoops to 
  26. jump through or send me a copy of the login.cmd that you use.
